If they VPN in with their phones, the bridge wants them to go press the hardware button again to reauthorize the connection (not sure if it's because the VPN exposes a different IP or MAC address to the bridge than the on-site connection?) My main problem then is that the maintenance guys can't connect the bridge to the cloud platform and therefore can only control it from within the building, which defeats the remote control purpose of the entire project. (Note to others performing the same setup - definitely create a reservation for the Bridge, as it doesn't offer any option for a static IP - DHCP only)ДЄlso, when you link a new phone to the bridge, you have to physically press a button on the bridge to authorize the link.
